Nowadays finding or looking for a home is very difficult much more so if you want to find the perfect one, I remember when we sold our home years ago and before we found our new house, we went through so much stress. You have to consider first the location, the current physical state and lastly the price, in this blog you will learn what factors are to be considered to find the perfect home you are longing for.

It means a lot if you research for property values or prices in the area, talk to the neighborhood before you buy or transfer and ask questions like what it’s like during the day is it safe? Does the house have a troubling history? Ask your agent about the flaws of the house or does it have a clean title or if it needs repair or some improvements.
- Location is necessary
Inspect the surrounding area of the home, go and drive around the 3 mile radius and see what you have around you, are you near a school? Your church or even a hospital? These are factors you need to consider if you want to feel comfortable with. Also if I may add, the location is actually a very important factor if you want to resell your home in the future this will always affect its resale value.
- Do not expect too much
You have to understand that houses aren’t made perfect to start with, believe me you will always have things where in you think you could make it very different and you will never run out of those ideas, today you want to have a bath tub but who knows tomorrow you may want another thing. As long as you can add your own style soon it will become your perfect home.
- Give it a chance to grow
Ensure your perfect home has extra spaces for expansion or for storage, it always helps if you have a house that is flexible enough to accommodate some changes or even additional spaces say your hobby or your future home office.
- Think first maybe you do not need to move, you just only need to remodel
Your home may not be in the best condition right now but think about the potential of your house, doing a little repair on the roof or repainting the living room walls can turn it into becoming your dream house? How about your kitchen or your bathroom? maybe it will make so much difference if you do some remodeling, some homes just needs a spruce up a little to make it look new, these changes can actually make so much difference and can alter your perception from wanting to leave to creating your perfect home.
